My photography road
My name is Saeed Basseri, and I am a self-taught photographer from Iran who is passionate about capturing the beauty of the world around me. My love for photography started in my family, where we would always capture special moments together. My uncle, who was an engineer by trade, was particularly influential in my passion for photography, as he took stunning pictures during his travels and gatherings.
In 2009, I began my journey in photography during my first year of studying architecture. I borrowed an analog Canon AE-1 from a friend, who was also a talented photographer, and began to explore the technical aspects of photography. I also learned from Saeed Sharifi, a professional photographer in Iran, who helped me develop my skills and style.
After years of learning and practicing, I started my professional career in food photography in 2017 with Dakouma restaurant in my hometown, Shiraz. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with over 40 well-known businesses, creating high-quality visual content that showcases their products and services.
My focus on food photography has allowed me to explore the beauty of the culinary world and capture the intricacies of each dish. I take pride in my work and strive to create images that not only look visually appealing but also tell a story.
